In this, as well as with most all, scenario - Trump's pathologic narcissism & flagrant ignorance are his own worst enemies. He truly believes that he can out sheister Putin. Trump is in way over his head & either doesn't realize that or is unwilling to admit it.

Compounding the tragedy is Trump's complete lack of empathy. He truly doesn't care, nor will he feel guilty, when his incompetence shatters international faith & confidence in the U.S. &, even more tragic, ends thousands of innocent lives in the Ukraine &, potentially, ends millions of innocent lives if Putin's expansionist, colonialism proceeds as predicted.
